My portfolio just got a little update. In the "Sketchbook" section, there is a fresh one of Shadow Lass, from the Legion Of Super Heroes.
Another excellent news is that it only took finally posting some pieces on my Deviant Art account and doing a little networking by finding some artists I'm a fan of, and it payed off!!!
The only way this could get better is if I got praises on my artwork by Adam Hughes himself. But if that happened i'd probably go into a coma and wouldn't be able to post it here. ;P
New additions to my portfolio. In the new "pin-ups" section you will find a sexy Zatanna pencil illustration. And there are also new images in the sketchbook, in the "color" and "inks" sub-sections.
Hello again. Just posting another sketch downloaded from the internet and colored in Photoshop.
This one is from Frank Cho. I did this one a while ago, right after the Rogue from the previous post. I think it shows evolution in using the program. Hope you enjoy it!
Photoshop is one of the greatest tools an artist has at his disposal nowadays. And, in the age of Google, finding tutorials on how to use the program is one of the simplest things. Like this and this, you can also find excelent tutorials here. Now, vídeos of people coloring, inking or painting in that program, are a whole other level of fun. Below you will find an example, from brazilian artist Ronaldo Barata's website, featuring the coloring of a sketch.

And speaking of sketches, and staying on-topic with my last post about Adam Hughes, I'm posting one of his sketches I downloaded off the internet and colored as a little Photoshop CS2 training a while ago. This Rogue sketch is the first one of a series of four I colored. Here's hoping you like it.
I've been spending some time on You Tube searching for videos of the great masters of comic art doing what they do best. Since you end up finding A LOT of stuff, for today I'll post a true LESSON by someone I consider one of the modern MESTERS. ADAM HUGHES.
It's always nice to know that not only he is one hell of a professional, but also seems to be a very accecible guy.
